tokidoki Sodashop Palette

What it is:
The ultimate collection of tokidoki cosmetics and collectibles.

What it does:
Happy days are here again with tokidoki's Soda Shop Palette. The Soda Shop story is told with a winking sundae, a charming gumball machine, scary high-tops, a trucker burger, the jukebox man, and playful movie concessions.

This collection includes:
- Twelve smooth-blending and hydrating eyeshadows in: Skull Donut (nude vanilla), Patatino (shimmery pale golden peach), Riposino (medium brown), Ciccio (bronzy gold brown), Mummetto (dark brown), Mozzarella (shimmering dark brown), Tulipano (pale lilac), Nancy Rocks (purple), Romeo (plum), Ciotolina (shimmering mossy green), Arrosto (dark charcoal gray with shimmer), Furbina (dark purple with shimmer)

- PerfettoEyeliner with a chisel tip (inspired by graphic artist pens) that can produce three effects: thin, bold, and a thicker, heavy line

- Nail file in the shape of the tokidoki character SANDy

- Removable tokidoki pendant magnet with a sheet of Soda Shop inspired tokidoki characters, sure to spice up any metal possession

- Collectible tin that can be reused to house your tokidoki treasures

What else you need to know:
Simone Legno, the artist behind tokidoki, takes you back to classic Americano happy days with the Soda Shop Collection, created exclusively for Sephora. There's no interrupting good old fashioned fun when tokidoki's around.

Con's
  • Some Shadow can be hit or miss( depends on what you use them for)

What I like:
- Super cute tokidoki artwork like always.
- Great value. $49 isn’t too shabby for 16 shadows, 1 liner and 1 nail file.
- Lots of neutral and fun shades to choose from.
- The whole box is full of clever and practical designs, the divider, the eyeliner tip, cap…
- The shadows are fairly pigmented and easy to blend.

What could be better:
- The eyeliner is too watery and it smudges.
- Some of the shadows are not very smooth, for example Mummetto is too grainy and Tulipano is too chalky.
- There is a slight shadow fallout from Forbino.
- The whole palette is a tad bulky, not the best for on-the-go touchup.

Thoughts-This is a wonderful makeup palette for someone who loves cute packaging and fun cartoon characters. It has great designs and a variety of shades to play with. Most of them are in good quality except a few that need improvement.
