Maybelline Color Sensational High Shine Lipsticks Review/ Swatches

 It can be a little scary buying a lipsticks , since you never know what It gonna look like until you buy it and try it on at home , some time it a hit and then again a possible fail , but not with these lipstick I'm about to show you  , I'm pretty sure these shade and this brand of lipsticks can be flatting on anyone !

 Maybelline Color Sensational Lipsticks

What Are They : Crisper color from pure pigment lipsticks . Creamier feel from nourishing honey nectar. Lipcolor so rich, so stunning, it's sensational.

What I Got:

805 Pink Freeze- Pale Barbie Pink

810 Disco Pink- Reddish Pink W/Shimmer

815 Glisten Up Pink-Berry Pink W/ Shimmer

840 Coral Lustre-Coral Orange

Texture/Pigmentation 

 According to the Maybelline website, this new formula contains "mirror-like color from micro-mirror pigments". So the "high shine" in this lipstick is not from the finish, but rather it's inside the formula itself. Don't get me wrong, it's got a glossy finish, but what REALLY makes it shine is the "micro-mirror pigments" in the formula. The texture of these lipstick are very creamy but can be sheer depending on the shade you choose , some of the lipstick do have small speck of shimmer but are not gritty at all  , however the pigmentation is crazy pigmented , must shades just after one swipe across the lip , will give you the true color in the tube , but of course if you wanted a more deeper look to keep applying .These do transfer so if you're looking for one that dries and doesn't transfer, this isn't for you. but if you're looking for a glossy lipstick that feels great on the lips then this is for you.

Scent 

Maybelline Color Sensational High Shine Lipsticks have a slight berry/fruity scent but nothing over powering , but I didnt notice the scent fade rather quickly.

Pros:

• Sheer – buildable color.
• Not drying. Pretty moisturizing actually.
• Color lasts a long. In that, it is like a stain after a while that lasts for quite some time.
• Sweet packaging. Shiny and easy to know what color the lipstick is.
• Did not notice any bleeding of the color.
• Not heavily priced.
• Good availability.

Cons:

• Some lipsticks contain shimmer

The Maybelline's HighShine Lipstick is squared shape, very similar to the Maybelline's Sensational LipColor  packaging, except this has a shiny, reflective,  and silver cap. The cap securely clicks tight , great to put in your purse without worrying about making any mess.  Maybelline Color Sensational High Shine Lipsticks  retail for $7.99 USD at most drugstores .

My Thoughts- Best lipstick and an amazing price point!I love this because it is kind of a cross between lipstick and lip gloss. I usually splurge on higher end lipsticks like Mac and YSL but I will definitely be purchasing more of these awesome drugstore lipsticks.
