Surreal Makeup LLC. was founded in 2011 with the sole purpose of providing top quality cosmetic products for a fraction of the cost of big name retailers.

The Owner of Surreal Makeup LLC. started to acquire allergies to the lakes, dyes and chemicals found in other major brand cosmetics on the market and could no longer wear them. With the help of a friend who worked as a chemist for a major cosmetic brand she was able to create her own mineral cosmetics without lakes, dyes or harsh chemicals. She was able to wear these cosmetics without allergic reaction and the color stayed vibrant all day.

The color and vibrancy of this makeup attracted a lot of attention and people started taking notice and were asking where they could buy some as well. Thus, Surreal Makeup LLC. was created.

Surreal Makeup LLC. originally had 20 colors of eye shadow available for purchase and has grown in the past year to 240 eye shadow colors as well as Body Glitz, U/V Black-light Glitter, Foundation and much more.

Surreal Makeup is 100% pure minerals with no lake, dyes or harsh chemicals. It is hypo-allergenic, naturally water resistant and makes a great sports or performance makeup as it will not run when you perspire. The color lasts all day without folding in the creases of your eye lids as there is no organic fillers that bind when wet.

Pigment & Texture

Surreal Makeup is super pigmented and beyond packed with color none of the eyeshadow are grainy , chalky or dry , they just guilds on when applying them to the eye even if some of them have glitter/ shimmer in them .The texture is extremely smooth & silky

Staying Power

The staying power is great ,these mineral eye shadows have great staying power with or without primer , although I think it is best to use a primer for the best pigmentation and best staying power,but I do think if you have oil or combo eyelid you must use a primer , but if you have non oily eyelids I think the staying power is great without a primer.

Packaging and Price

Surreal Makeup has the cutest packaging ive seen from a mineral makeup line. There packaging is a plastic container with a black lid with the Surreal Makeup logo , the container itself has a label on the bottle with the name of the product , ingredients and web address, each container of mineral eye shadows has a sifter and a cover over the sifter , which I think is so important with mineral eye shadows. The price for Surreal Makeup is so budget friendly , each product retails for $8.00 USD and free shipping to anyone in the US.

My Thoughts- I have thoroughly enjoyed using my Surreal Makeup mineral eye colors; I can't say enough about how pretty they are, how smoothly they apply, and what amazing staying-power they have. (And the value is insane!)
