Fragrance Review- Rihanna Reb'l Fleur

Daring, sexy and truly memorable, Reb'l Fleur is as much in tune with Barbados-born Rihanna's roots as it is with the glamour of her present life in New York City."This fruity chypre is joyous yet intense, sophisticated yet marvelously surprising. Plump, delicious fruits, red berries, purple plums and juicy, ripe peaches make a delicious first impression. Then the heart opens into a lush hybrid hinting at Island Life, subtle yet intoxicating, blossoming with sumptuous florals. A passionate melody of Hawaiian Hibiscus flower, violet, tuberose and coconut water. Definitely sexy, the base notes linger, a beguiling, sensual melange. Vanilla, patchouli, amber and musk become a sultry chorus striking an unforgettable, emotional chord.

Reb'l Fleur was created for the Barbadian pop star Rihanna and its name comes from “Rebel Flower,” a nickname Rihanna’s grandmother gave to her as a child. Rebellious it is not, however. Reb’l Fleur threads the same ground as virtually all other celebrity fragrances marketed towards the teen to mid 20s market. There is a big plum and strawberry note, which manages to be simultaneously milky and sharp. Then there is the ubiquitous generic floral accord. The creamy, coconut notes give it a dense, opaque quality. The sensation of the mossy-woody notes paired with the equally ubiquitous cotton candy is somewhat softened by the lavish helpings of musk and vanilla. All of the elements are simply too familiar. It reminds me of nothing in particular, yet it smells like everything else out there. There is an element of Chanel Coco Mademoiselle and Narciso Rodriguez for Her, a hint of Vivienne Westwood Libertine, a whisper of Kylie Minogue Darling

Thought-I was approached by a salesperson in at  Dept. Store and I was hesitant at first because in my mind, every celebrity has perfume so what makes this one any different. WOW!! let me tell you, this was a fragerance that was totally different and it smelled wonderful. The aroma is different and it becomes a conversation piece for me.I have gotten so many compliments when wearing this perfume and I don't want to smell it everyday and become overwelmed with the scent so it's only worn on special occasions.

Have Your Tried Any  Of Rihanna Perfumes?
