Product Review-Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation SPF 15

 I was like a little kid opening the Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation box. And then there was feeling the amazing brush, all I can say is WOW. It should get an award for "best foundation brush." I was hesitant to buy it because I don't like the heavy feel of a full coverage foundation.

My Thoughts-Your relationship with your foundation should be like any other relationship in your life--if it's not working out, don't force it. Every oil skin girl should have this foundation! This gives the most beautiful matte finish ever, and stays that way all day! I am really loving all of Tarte's Amazonian Clay products, but this is pure perfection! This foundation is a very thick consistency (think, clay mask texture). I have been using this daily for just over a month to make sure I get a true sense of how the Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation will work for me. Love!!!! As other reviewers have stated, this gives a really nice finish, not necessarily glowy, not dead matte either. It looks very natural and my favorite thing about it is that it doesn't give me that orange/yellowy "edge" right by the bridge of my nose.....not sure if you know what I'm talking about but it seems that with almost any other foundation I use, BE, MAC, etc., no matter now much I blend, I end up with this line where my foundation ends right next to my eyes. Not with this stuff. I vary the application and am still experimenting. I usually start by dotting the foundation with my finger and lightly blending with my fingers, then I use the included brush more to finish it and fully blend

Step by step how I did this Arabic inspired eye!

Step 1- Apply Any White Base, I Used NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil In Milk

Step 2- Take A Flat Shadow Brush And Apply Any Hot Pink Shadow To The Outer Part Of The Lid, Blending Up Making A Flick Wing, I Used Wet N Wild Spoiled Brat Palette

Step 3- Take A Flat Shadow Brush And Apply Any Yellow Shadow To The Inner Part Of The Lid & Blend, I Used Nyx Yellow

Step 4- Take A Fluffy Brush  & Apply A Highlight Color To Your Brow Bone, I Used Urban Decay Virgin

Step 5- Take A Felt Tip Black Eyeliner Pen Or Gel Liner And Apply On  Lower Water Line& Upper Lash Line Creating Wings , I Used Nyx Fat Tip Liner Pen

Step 6- Apply Mascara, I used PF Organic Jumbo Mascara

Step 1- Apply Primer, I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance

Step 2- Apply Any White Base, I used Nyx Jumbo Pencil In Milk

Step 3- Take Any Purple Eyeshadow  & A Flat Shader Brush And Apply To The Outer Half Of Your Eye And Wing Out (Tape Works Well For This) , I Used Profusion Purple Palette

Step 4- Take Any Red Eyeshadow & A Shader Brush And Apply To  The Inner Part Of Eye And Connect With The Purple And Blend Together, I Used Nyx Cherry Red

Step-5 -Take The Same Purple & Red You Used Before And Smudge Into Your Lower Lashline

Step 6 -Take A Angled Brush And Purple Shadow And Make A Lower Wing ( Apply Tape For A Soild Line)

Step 7- Take Any Liner And Apply To the Lower And Upper Lash Line & Wings To The Bottom Waterline, I Used Mac Gel Liner

Step 8-Take  That Same Liner And Make A (V) With Dot Inside The Purple Wings

Step 9- Apply Any Mascara , I Used Maybelline Define A Lash

Step 3-Take a flat shader brush  & Wet N Wild  Blue Had Me At Hello palette ,  using the third color on the right side and apply all over the lid

Step 4-Take a angled liner brush  & apply any matte black shadow to create a winged effect  and blend and harsh line, I used Mac Carbon

Step 5-Take a fluffy brush and apply a skin tone shadow  to the brow bone , I used Wet n Wild eyeshadow in Sugar

Step 6 -Take a angle liner brush and a black gel liner and apply to the lower lash line  to create a bottom wing, I  used Elf Gel Liner( Black)

Step 7- Take a liquid liner, and make dot in winged area, I used Maybelline Line Stiletto

Step 8- Clean up and thing that is messing or sharp edges.

 Step By Step Instruction -

Step 1- Apply primer you like , I used UDPP

Step 2- Apply any white base, I used NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk

Step 3- Take a angled liner brush and any gel liner , apply a wing to the outer and inner  part of your eye, I used  Elf Line (Black)

Step 4-Take a flat shader brush and apply any purple eyeshadow to the lid , I used Wet N Wild I <3 Matte Palette(Purple)

Step 5-Take a crease brush and apply any light med pink eyeshadow to the crease , I used Urban Decay shadow in Woodstock(Pink)

Step 6- Take a fluffy brush and blend the pink and purple together  so there no harsh lines

Step 6 -Take a fluffy brush  and apply any gold eyeshadow to the inner corner of your eye, I used Elf  32 palette( Gold)

Step 7-Take a fluffy brush and apply any skintone color and apply to the brow bone. I used the UD naked palette( Virgin)

Step 8- Take any liner and line the upper lash line connecting the wings, I used Maybelline Line Stiletto

Step 9- Take a smudger brush and smudge any black shadow or line to the lower lash line, I used Maybelline Define  A Line 

Step 10 - Take the same line you used before and tight line the eye and apply liner to the lower lash line, I used Maybelline Define A Line

Step 11- Take any mascara you like and apply to the lower and upper lashes( Apply False Lashes if you like) , I used Hard Candy Lash Ink & Maybelline Falsies Flare

Step 12- Clean up :)

Thought-I was approached by a salesperson in at  Dept. Store and I was hesitant at first because in my mind, every celebrity has perfume so what makes this one any different.
