Butter LONDON Lippy In Teddy Girl Review

When I first learned that Butter London would be entering the field of cosmetics, I was so super excited , not only to find a new line of lip gloss but to have a lip gloss that had a matching nail polish to go with it  ,I love that so many companies are coming out with products to meet this new trend.

Im not a fan of  the texture of  this gloss. They are quick thick, goopy and sticky- a few things that aren’t too fun when it comes to liquid lipsticks. They felt quick heavy on my lips, and not nearly as creamy and moisturizing has I like from my liquid lip colors. It is SUPER pigmented – and that is no lie. Colors are rich with color!

Staying Power  

  As for the staying power, these glosses last about 3 hours on me, before I saw patchiness/fading  & wearing . 

 Packaging/Price

Each Lippy comes with a spongy doe-foot applicator that picks up the perfect amount of product needed to be deposited, while the mid-sized wand makes it easy to work with as well. The shorter bottle is also a plus, turning this into a convenient size to carry in your makeup bag, although it does not detract from the amount of product given (0.24 fl.oz/7.1 ml). Another bonus is the addition of shea butter in the formula, ensuring your lips stay well-hydrated long after the product has worn off. Priced modestly at US $17.00/CDN $19.00 per Lippy, the quality here is comparable to that of higher-end brands, but at a significantly better price point.

My Thoughts-I highly recommend these gloss by  layered over a lipstick to cut some of the bleeding. I love the way you get great payoff and the color stays where you put it, doesn’t slip or slide. But on the other hand they do feel thick and sticky and I don’t like the scent , smell very fruity.
